Did you know Ed Schmidt has one of the most advanced body shops in the tri-state area?

We do!

Less than a year old, the Ed Schmidt Wreck Center has more space, better tools, and the best technology to work out any kinks on your vehicle.

With winter at our door and driving conditions decreasing, we thought it would be a great time to tell you about all the great features at the Wreck Center!

The Ed Schmidt Wreck Center is 15 minutes away from almost anywhere in the metropolitan Toledo area.

The facility is 23,500 square foot free standing facility, with attached dual drive through estimating bays.

This facility features 4 downdraft spray booths, 2 frame machines, 2 vehicle hoists, and a resistant spot welder for all of the new metals the manufacturers are using. All of our spray booths are equipped with the capability of spraying DuPont water based paint which is more eco friendly.

There are even booth cameras! You can watch your vehicle being painted in real time. Click here to see!

We will provide better and faster service than anyone in town, which means faster cycle times throughout the repair process. We are a direct repair with over 35 different insurance companies and welcome more. We have a staff of 3 estimators, 1 parts coordinator, 1 shop and business coordinator, 9 body technicians, 4 paint technicians, as well as a complete detail shop.

What this all adds up to, is that you will receive the highest level of service available in the Toledo market as well as the fastest cycle time for your vehicle to get in and out of the shop.

We take all types of insurance. So, in the unfortunate event that you need your wreck fixed, just tell the tow truck to bring your car to Ed Schmidt. We will make life a lot easier for you, and even provide you a rental car at no cost.
